Our hotel in Puerta del Sol is your best starting point in Madrid. In this square we find some of the most famous points and buildings of the capital, such as the Kilometre Zero, the Statue of the Bear and the Strawberry Tree, and of course, the Clock of the Royal House of the Post Office, where the famous bells strike every New Year’s Eve.

In addition, from our hotel in the heart of Madrid you will reach the Plaza del Callao square (recognizable by its iconic Schweppes sign) within three minutes on foot, just like the enigmatic Gran Vía, literally 'Great Street', one of the most important and busy avenues of Madrid. At five minutes walking distance from the hotel you will stumble upon the main square Plaza Mayor, and in just ten minutes, you’ll reach the Royal Palace of Madrid.

Our hotel is located near the Prado Museum, the Retiro Park, the Thyssen Museum, and the Temple of Debod, points that you will reach between 10 and 20 minutes through a beautiful walk from the accommodation.

HOW TO GET TO THE HOTEL

By car
When you enter the city, go into the direction of 'Plaza Mayor' along 'Calle Mayor' and take a slight left towards 'Calle de Bordadores', then continue straight on 'Calle de San Martín' that is connected with 'Calle de la Misericordia' to reach the hotel after about 100 metres travelled on this last street.

By metro
The hotel is located near the following metro stops: Callao (Line 3 and Line 5). Sol (Line 1, Line 2, and Line 3). Gran Vía (Line 1 and Line 5).

By train
You can take line C3 or line C4 of the Madrid commuter train to 'Sol' station and then walk for five minutes: walk through the historic pedestrian street 'Calle de Preciados', then turn left on 'Calle del Maestro Victoria'. The hotel is located on the right at number 5.
